Last night, British Conservatives in Paris was delighted to welcome Conservatives Abroad Chairman, Heather Harper MBE at a dinner with a traditional French menu.
The company included the BCiP team and a good turn out of members.
Speeches were made by BCiP chairman, Jeremy Stubbs, Conservatives Abroad coordinator for France, Rafael Pittman, BCiP and Conservatives Abroad team member, Christopher Chantrey OBE and above all Heather Harper MBE.
The conclusions of the evening were that: Starmer’s Labour would have only one term of office; the Conservatives would bounce back at the next elections under a new leader; that members would be well advised to answer the various relevant questionnaires which they have received by email; and, after securing the vote for life for UK residents abroad, the next campaign of CA would be for the establishment of a post of minister for the millions of UK citizens resident abroad.
