The new Foreign Secretary the Rt Hon James Cleverly TD VR MP took time out from his busy schedule at the United Nations to greet the Conservatives Abroad team in New York which was greatly appreciated. There was a discussion of current British foreign policy initiatives and recognition of the large professional British community living in the Tri-State area and their contribution to the Special Relationship and to Global Britain.
