Members of the Conservatives Abroad team were invited to accompany the Foreign Secretary, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton to the Foreign Press Association today in Central London where he announced the Conservative manifesto commitment to appoint a Minister for British Citizens Overseas to represent them across government.
Conservatives Abroad believe this is the logical next step after we delivered on our promise to introduce 'votes for life' to ensure Britons living and working abroad are properly represented in both parliament and government.
