Conservatives Abroad in Singapore successfully hosted its first post-pandemic major event.
We are delighted that the Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP, was able to meet us privately and at short notice, during his brief visit to Singapore.
Demand for places was understandably strong and slots were fully taken up. Boris arrived a few minutes early and after some wise words to the group on many topics, energetically provided everyone the opportunity for an individual chat and a picture, which our guests truly appreciated.
Boris recalled his prior Conservatives Abroad event in Singapore, 8 years ago in 2014, when 'Votes for Life’ for overseas voters was a major discussion point. Boris expressed his true delight in ultimately delivering this manifesto commitment.
In summary, this was an informal, upbeat, and ultimately memorable experience for our supporters in Singapore!
